Our tan and white Plakie is inspired by Coffee Bay – a small town on South Africa’s Wild Coast with the most spectacular views and beaches.Coffee Bay is a popular destination for sunbathers, surfers, and horse trails.
According to the local lore acargo ship carrying coffee beanswas wrecked along the Wild Coast and the coffee beans supposedly washed out on the shores, which led to a few coffee trees starting to grow. Unfortunately, the conditions were not suitable for the trees to survive, but the name surely did!
